​Greetings Hampton Elementary School Families, 

A few updates for you as we start the week!

No classes for students – There are no classes for students on Monday, May 8th, as there are meetings and professional development for staff. Classes resume on Tuesday, May 9th.

Provincial Assessments – Students in grades 4 and 5 will be completing provincial assessments over the course of the next three weeks in May. All grade 4 students will complete assessments in Reading (English) and Science. All grade 5 students will complete assessments in Math, and grade 5 FI students will complete an assessment in French Reading.

Hot Lunch Ordering – There is a new Pizza order available online for purchase from May 6 – May 15. It will be for 5 weeks, from May 17 - June 14. (If you need a paper copy of the order form, you may have your child pick one up in the office.) All orders are due May 15.

Milk Program – This week is our last week for the milk program this year, ending on May 12th.

Seasonal change – Spring has sprung! This welcomed change of season also comes with increased exposure to the great outdoors and some of its creepy-crawly residents. A gentle reminder to please check your child for tics, rashes, and lice.
